Your role at a glance As a Senior Design Solution Engineer (mechanical discipline), you will be taking the lead in ensuring there is a high quality, accurate and tenderable mechanical scope of work defined for each of the data centre fit-out opportunities.
The role can be based out of London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Berlin and will have input on projects across the wider region which will include a variety of upgrades and fit out projects.
The position may occasionally involve supporting global initiatives, which may include out-of-region opportunities or conducting or contributing to supporting peer reviews with colleagues across regions.
The Senior Design Solution Engineer will drive a multi-disciplinary design delivery process acting as the primary contact to NTTs external design vendors, liaising with various internal stakeholders and consulting with other technical members in both Local and Global Technical Operations and Design teams to ensure best-in-class solutions are made with careful assessment of risks and opportunities to RIBA Stage 2 (30% level plans) only.
They will help develop and promote the adoption of best practice processes and procedures in both design and engineering and wider delivery teams.
