Your role at a glance: As our Senior Supply Chain Manager you will be accountable for the implementation and day-to-day execution of the Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment program supporting regional data center construction. The OFCI Program includes procurement of critical mechanical, electrical and power systems, ensuring quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery to construction projects worldwide. The Senior Supply Chain Manager represents the Supply Chain organization and actively engages with the project team on all project strategy and project delivery activities to ensure supply chain strategies are aligned and meet all project build schedules, cost, design and capacity targets. This role requires an understanding of both construction project delivery and capital supply chain management in mission-critical environments.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant field
  • Minimum of six years of procurement and supply chain management required, preferably in mission critical/data center construction support including Capital Equipment procurement
  • Experience working with electrical and/or mechanical system suppliers, with additional specific experience with system integrators (modules, skids, etc.) required
  • Experience in Data Center construction, working with Suppliers & Buyer’s Agent (General Contractor)
  • LEAN/Six Sigma training
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • MCIPS (Chartered Procurement and Supply Qualification) preferred
  • Several years’ of experience in supply chain, procurement
  • Experience managing capital equipment or MEP procurement in data center construction, hyperscale, industrial, mission-critical environments
  • Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Understanding of sustainability and ESG requirements within capital supply chains
  • Additional European language such as French, Spanish and/or Italian would be an advantage

What you will do:

  • Supporting construction projects and critical facilities operations business objectives through implementation of the Global OFCI Program strategies
  • Support development and implementation of project specific OFCI equipment supply chain logistic activities and procedures including, but not limited to, multi-year project forecasts, sourcing, production planning, negotiations, procurement, logistics, quality, distribution, and heavy communication/alignment with internal and external NTT GDC stakeholders
  • Ensure all OFCI equipment orders are made on time to meet schedule, actively mitigate late equipment deliveries and ensure high rate of on time delivery
  • Partner with project controls and finance to share procurement status, budget utilization, equipment installation progress, ensuring transparency and cost accountability
  • Manage impact of project specific design changes with suppliers and ensure fair and reasonable equipment pricing as a core business function
  • Anticipate issues in advance to prevent potential impacts, internally and externally to drive business decisions. This includes an understanding of the market environment and current events
  • Monitor and populate key performance indicators (KPI’s) in support of the global standard for OFCI equipment. Measure performance against these KPIs and collaborate with global category managers to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Be the first level escalation for all project OFCI concerns including vendor or overall supply chain issues (change orders, late deliveries, disputes, invoice accuracy, etc.); investigate, respond, and bring closure to suppliers, buyer’s agent, or other internal stakeholders
  • Ensure OFCI suppliers’ readiness and capability for all commissioning schedule and quality requirements
  • Ensure OFCI supplier clarity, alignment and ability to deliver on all project deliverables
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of best practice procurement processes for Mechanical, Electrical and Data Center-specific equipment and support services
  • Possesses experience negotiating Agreement terms and conditions, pricing, cost adjustments, supplier qualification processes, vendor selection, and sourcing logistics
  • Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills to prepare and present supply chain updates
  • Travel requirements between 10% to 25% of time
  • Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection
