What we are looking for
As the position for Senior Solutions Engineer , you will provide technical support to all EMEA Region Solutions Engineering activities and is responsible for developing and delivering innovative and effective solutions that meet existing customer needs and drive business growth. This role is specifically focused on helping close existing hyperscale and enterprise business via data center and product knowledge, solution design, quoting, exceptional presentation skills, and leading tours of the NTT Data GDC facilities. The Senior Solutions Engineer will ensure the highest standards of technical excellence and customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall success of the organization. This role requires a technical oriented thinker with a deep understanding of infrastructure engineering as well as MEP systems, and customer requirements, who can build trust, and work collaboratively across various internal and external stakeholders.
This role is primarily remote, with occasional on-site collaboration as required - limited travel may be required up to 10%. In this role, you will be flexible to work across global time zones.
What will you do?
Based in the EMEA region and reports to the Director of Central Solutions Engineering Services and works closely with NTT Data GDC Sales Representatives to develop a thorough understanding of existing customer technical requirements particularly electrical, mechanical, fiber network systems
Executes the technical solutioning of existing hyperscale/enterprise client requirements in alignment with NTT Data GDC company goals and objectives
Gathers existing client technical requirements and collaborates with other NTT Data GDC teams including Subject Matter Experts, Service Operations, Client Success Managers to oversee the development, design, and delivery of complex MEP, BMS, Fiber Network solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance
Leads the preparation of the technical response package for existing client requests and communicates solutions back to the client in a timely manner
