Your role at a glance: As our Senior Financial Modeling Analyst, you will report to the Senior Director-Global Investment Financial Analysis. This position is a high-impact role responsible for developing, maintaining, and interpreting complex business case models supporting large-scale (GW-level) data center investments and strategic initiatives.
This role plays a critical part in:
- Supporting investment decision-making for large hyperscale and multi-GW development programs
- Translating commercial, operational, and financing inputs into robust financial models
- Partnering closely with the Investment team to support DevCo formation, capital structuring, and execution of large deals
- Supporting sales by evaluating the impact of large sales deals on Asset ROI
This position requires deep technical modeling expertise with a strong focus on debt financing, capital structure mechanics, and scenario analytics.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- MBA/CPA preferred
- Several years progressive experience in finance
- Experience with investors preferred
- Strong experience in Financial modeling (advanced Excel) & Capital budgeting, IRR/NPV analysis
- Ability to translate ambiguous inputs into structured models, identify key value drivers and risks & perform sensitivity and downside analysis
- Ability to communicate complex modeling outputs clearly and support senior stakeholders with decision-ready insights
- Ability to conduct and prepare comprehensive and detailed data analysis and output reports for stakeholders
- Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook and AI tools as approved by the organization
- Strong ability to create context in PowerPoint is required
- Revenue Recognition knowledge is preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
What you will do:
- Work with other departments to pull together assumptions to build business cases for new sites/GW scale sites
- Analyze business case inputs for reasonableness and comparison to other investments
- Ensure robust modeling of returns (IRR, NPV), cashflows, and sensitivities
- Support business case development across lifecycle: greenfield, expansion, recapitalization, and DevCo structures
- Develop and maintain detailed debt and capital structure components within business case models
- Model Multi-entity investment structures, capital stacking and funding flows and impact of large anchor deals on portfolio returns
- Impact of large customer deals on project economics and capital efficiency
- Update business cases with Budget vs actuals, revised forecasts, financing changes and deal updates
- Ensure alignment with Investor models, lending requirements, internal reporting frameworks
- Update new site business cases with actuals, revised forecast assumptions and compare against original business case
- Analyze financial results and evaluate asset performance
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for Executive audience communicating financial metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned
This position is expected to be working in a hybrid working environment that is work from office and home as per the HR policy. This position might be required to support regions spread across different geographies (APAC, India, EMEA) with occasional requirement to attend meetings in USA timings and hence should be flexible to work in multiple time zones on a need basis. Travel 5-10% of the time.
