Your role at a glance: We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Junior Litigation & Claims Counsel to join our global Legal team. This role will support the management of litigation, claims, disputes, investigations, and related risk management initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers, business stakeholders, external counsel, insurance providers, and risk management teams to help protect the company's interests while supporting business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developing in-house lawyer to gain exposure to complex global matters, contribute to strategic dispute resolution, and help shape litigation and claims governance processes within a dynamic international organization. This is a full-time permanent role within a home-based working environment.

What you will do:

  • Support the management of litigation, arbitration, administrative proceedings, and other disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist in developing case strategies in collaboration with senior legal counsel and external counsel.
  • Coordinate fact gathering, document collection, and preservation activities.
  • Monitor litigation developments, deadlines, budgets, and reporting requirements.
  • Review briefs, settlement agreements, and other dispute-related documents.
  • Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing claims, including customer, vendor, subcontractor, and third-party claims.
  • Support claim investigations, root-cause analyses, and resolution strategies, including coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in assessing claim exposure, reserves, settlement opportunities, and recovery options.
  • Help develop, implement, and maintain litigation and claims management policies, procedures, and playbooks.
  • Support compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Law degree (LL.B., J.D., or equivalent) and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • Post-qualification legal experience, preferably including litigation, disputes, claims, or investigations work.
  • Experience gained at a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting cross-border disputes or multinational legal matters.
  • Exposure to commercial disputes, construction claims, technology disputes, or regulatory investigations.
  • Experience working with external counsel and litigation budgets.
  • Familiarity with discovery, legal hold, and document management processes.
  • Additional language capabilities are a plus.

Compensation Pay Range: This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device. NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $151,800 - $155,300. All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance. Employees receive paid time-off, medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and supplemental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account, and 401k retirement plan to create a rich Total Rewards package.
