Provide engineering services and guidance in general on property matters affecting the on-going management and development of the Data Centers.What we are looking forAs the Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Day Engineer – Mechanical or Electrical, you will plan, manage and implement the delivery of Facilities Maintenance services to our Data Centers ensuring operational performance is always maintained to the highest possible standards. Provide engineering services and guidance in general on property matters affecting the on-going management and development of the Data Centers.The role is full time Monday to Friday based at our LON1 site in Dagenham.What you will doProviding a customer focused service and a high standard of planned preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure timely completion of PPM’s and reactive work to SLA’sAccurately recording and reporting of maintenance activities including identifying faults and accurately diagnosing root causesMonitoring BMS alarms and maintaining equipment performance to ensure correct operation of the critical services of the Data CentersAssisting with incident management and subsequent technical investigations to establish root causeSupporting the Shift Engineering Teams to ensure correct operation of the critical services of the Data CentersMaintain accurate records, including logs, reports, system documentation.Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs and installations ensuring compliance with company safety standards.Utilization of relevant NTT data operational digital platformsYour profileExperience in facilities, operations or engineering; in a Data Centre critical environmentWorking knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within Business-Critical EnvironmentsCreating and developing SOP and EOP documentation and other related/similar processesA good understanding of BMS/SCADA monitoring systemsAbility to discuss and understand technical problems and resolutions with engineering specialists.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritizeGood analytical/ problem solving skillsThe ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good relationship building skillsSelf-motivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to learnClean full driving license valid for use in the UKTo undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019Essential qualifications and skillsNVQ Level 3 or equivalent (including recognized apprenticeship) with either an electrical or mechanical or building services.Minimum of 2-5 years trade experience.Intermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, switchgear, chillers, HVACPreferable qualifications relevant to the role:Experience in a Data Centre or a related critical infrastructure industryLV/HV Authorised person or eagerness to obtainIOSH managing SafetyLegionella awarenessIPAF/ PASMAWho we areAs the third largest data center provider, we operate over 150 data centers in more than 20 countries and regions.
