We are currently looking for a Principal BPO/BPaaS Sales Lead for our Agentic AI Customer Service business, based in the UK & I region. The role requires remote work with client-related travel. The successful candidate will be a subject‑matter expert in one or more industries and have a proven history of originating relationships and closing large, complex BPO and BPaaS deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a market maker, proactively originating deals and creating demand in the market.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert and articulate core value chain processes and transformation opportunities in industries such as Banking & Financial Services, Fintech, Insurance, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer, Travel & Hospitality, Hi‑tech, Energy & Utilities, Telecom, Healthcare, and Life Sciences.
- Utilise a consultative approach to understand prospective clients’ challenges, stakeholders, and goals, and develop tailored transformative BPO/BPaaS propositions leveraging AI and automation.
- Lead the end‑to‑end sales cycle, collaborating with solution architects, pricing teams, legal, operations, and others to structure multi‑million‑dollar ACV deals from prospect engagement to contract negotiation and closure.
- Develop and execute a strategic go‑to‑market plan with Managing Directors, Business Unit Leaders, sales teams, client executives, industry teams, alliance partners, and marketing.
- Build executive‑level relationships with decision makers such as COOs, CIOs, CFOs, and Heads of Operations.
- Stay current on industry and AI/technology trends, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies relevant to BPO and digital operations.
- Act as a thought leader, contributing to brand elevation through participation in industry forums, panels, and client advisory boards.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in BPO / Business Process Services sales, with deep knowledge of transformative outsourcing models and a focus on Contact Centres.
- Demonstrated success in selling large, complex global BPO deals, ideally exceeding $20M TCV.
- Industry experience in selling transformative Customer Experience / Customer Service and industry‑specific core value chain deals.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to structure complex deal constructs.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience selling to or working within Fortune 1000 clients.
