The Strategic People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner for the Global Growth Unit is an executive leadership role accountable for shaping and executing the people strategy that enables the success of the Global Growth Unit—an enterprise-critical function focused on driving innovation, market expansion, and strategic transformation.

With a dual reporting line into Global P&C and North America P&C, this role will be deeply embedded in the business to ensure that people and culture strategy and priorities are fully aligned with evolving strategic goals, operating models, and ways of working. It plays a pivotal role in enabling transformation through people, fostering leadership excellence, and building organizational agility in support of NTT DATA’s growth ambitions—including its commitment to AI, digital innovation, and global integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drives organisational design and development for the Global Growth Unit, ensuring process-driven, budget-aligned structures with clear timelines and transparent communications.
  • Enables function integration and alignment between global and regional growth plans and objectives, identifying overlaps and synergies, and implementing process-led transformation initiatives.
  • Partners with executive leadership on workforce planning for future-state operating model, including leadership development and succession planning for critical roles and direct reports.
  • Ensures the design and standardisation of the Global Growth Unit executive career framework, including titling framework for new hires and internal mobility, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organization.
  • Supports global sales talent strategies, including sales compensation structures in partnership with the sales remuneration teams.
  • Serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, influencing decisions on talent, organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and cultural transformation.
  • Translates business priorities into actionable P&C initiatives using data-driven insights, workforce analytics, and external market intelligence.
  • Collaborates with P&C Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to align talent acquisition, performance management, total rewards, and employee engagement with business needs.
  • Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion across all people initiatives, fostering a culture of belonging and inclusive leadership.
  • Acts as a change leader, enabling transformation through people and ensuring alignment, engagement, and resilience during periods of change.
  • Ensures compliance with global employment regulations and internal governance, proactively managing people-related risks.
  • Stays ahead of global workforce trends—including AI-driven strategies, skills evolution, and hybrid work models—and applies insights to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources or organizational psychology or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or HRCI (SPHR) are advantageous.
Required Experience:
  • Extensive experience in progressive P&C leadership roles, ideally within global technology services or similarly dynamic, high-growth environments.
  • Proven success leading global teams and driving large-scale organizational change and transformation.
  • Significant demonstrated experience designing and delivering innovative people strategies that enhance engagement, effectiveness, and cultural alignment.
  • Excellent track record of leveraging people analytics and workforce data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Extensive experience navigating organizational transitions during periods of uncertainty, with a focus on maintaining engagement, continuity, and retention.
  • Strong exposure to emerging workforce trends—including AI, digital transformation, and skills evolution—and the ability to translate these into actionable strategies.
