Senior Solution Architect (Pre-sales) in London

What you will be doing: The primary focus of the role will be to engage with prospective and existing clients, exploring how technology and Generative AI can transform application modernisation and augment approaches to the SDLC. You will evolve our application modernisation and augmented engineering offerings and refine our go-to-market strategy. Work closely with Client Partners, Sales and Delivery Directors, in our vertical business units to identify and develop application modernisation and augmented engineering opportunities. You will guide development of the pipeline of work. Lead the development of architectural solutions, ensuring alignment to client challenges whilst exploiting available accelerators, IP and partner assets. Ensure the proposed solutions meet industry best practices and quality standards. Work closely with the office of CTO and extended global CTO network to understand, influence and leverage global Gen AI assets. You will champion application of such IP to emerging client opportunities. Support pre-sales activities including conducting demos, developing proposals, estimating implementation effort, hosting technical deep dives, and presenting PoCs. Nurture our relationship with key technology alliance partners such as Microsoft, AWS, GitHub, and Google amongst others.

What experience you will bring: To excel in this role, you will need a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. You will be a confident Solutions Architect, with practical experience in back-end development/architecture (Java or C#) and in architecture design with cloud native technologies (serverless functions, event-driven, caching etc). Specifically, you will have:

• Extensive experience authoring, designing and more recently architecting software solutions using a wide range of technologies.
• Excellent conceptualisation and communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a consultative way.
• A solid understanding of software delivery principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• The ability to think strategically and possess innovative problem-solving skills.
• A track record of operating successfully in consulting organisations in client-facing roles.
• Successfully orchestrated geo-distributed teams to deliver exceptional results.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
