PMO Manager – Job DescriptionRole OverviewThe PMO Manager will lead the mobilisation, coordination, and governance of a major transformation programme. The role is responsible for establishing and operating a structured programme management office, ensuring delivery discipline, effective governance, and alignment across multiple business and functional stakeholders. Align policies, procedures, and control frameworks to support a strengthened governance environment. Risk, Compliance & Regulatory IntegrationEmbed banking‐grade risk management, compliance expectations, and regulatory oversight into programme governance and delivery processes. Ensure risks, issues, and dependencies are proactively identified, assessed, and managed through robust PMO controls. PMO Establishment & Delivery ManagementEstablish and lead a fully operational PMO, including governance cadence, reporting standards, RAID management, and delivery assurance. Coordinate communications, change activities, and cross‐functional collaboration to support smooth implementation. Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and organisational controls. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Ability to work in fast‐paced, high‐visibility transformation programmes with multiple senior stakeholders. Qualifications (Desirable)PMP (Project Management Professional)PRINCE2 PractitionerAgile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) are an advantage.
