The predicted salary is between 80000 - 100000 £ per year.
This role is a key leadership position within the Insurance industry and UK Client Delivery.
The focus is on setting and maintaining high delivery standards aligned with client expectations.
Responsibilities include delivery ownership for major bids, scoping competitive solutions, ensuring delivery assurance, mentoring project and service delivery managers, and liaising with Service Lines to align recruitment and capability plans with industry requirements.
The role will drive growth through deliverables, manage and mentor the Delivery Management team, and serve as the first contact for escalated delivery issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivery estimation for major bids.
- Accountable for delivery strategy and execution across Insurance accounts, ensuring client needs are met and exceeded for all services provided.
- Drive expansion plans for existing accounts, leveraging trust with senior-level Insurance clients.
- Oversee the successful mobilisation of new project teams and the transition/commencement of new services.
- Serve as the first point of contact for delivery issues escalated beyond the relevant PM or engagement lead.
- Demonstrate leadership and initiative in driving new sales opportunities based on a deep appreciation of NTT Data UK and partner capabilities.
- Act as a key client influencer to shape requirements in complex and ambiguous environments.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of current and future trends impacting the Insurance industry.
- Mentor project and service delivery managers to accelerate their development.
- Liaise with Service Lines to ensure recruitment and capability development aligns with industry needs.
- Manage and mentor the Delivery Management team, driving growth and performance measurement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a Delivery Director on large‑scale, complex programmes (£20m+) within the Insurance domain.
- Experience in consulting, project, and managed‑service delivery environments with knowledge of Life and Pensions domain expertise.
- Knowledge of industry processes and methods, including General, Specialty, Life, and Pensions delivery approaches and techniques such as Agile and Scaled Agile.
- Awareness of regulatory standards and guidance impacting service delivery and risk‑management approaches.
- Commercial acumen, familiarity with a range of pricing models and contracting methods.
