NTT DATA is seeking an Enterprise Security Architect with experience of securing solutions within business environments.
The architect should possess complex business architecture, and strategic leadership experience.
This role will define, govern, and drive the execution of the enterprise security architecture, vision across customers’ complex hybrid environments.
In addition to strategy and advisory leadership, the enterprise architect will be accountable for guiding teams in executing security roadmaps, maturing architecture capabilities, and embedding secure-by-design practices into all technology and business initiatives.
- What you'll be doing;
- 1. Enterprise Security Architecture Strategy & Leadership
- Define the enterprise-wide security architecture vision, principles, patterns, and standards.
- Develop multi-year security architecture roadmaps aligned with business strategy, technology plans, and risk posture.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of these roadmaps, partnering with engineering, operations, and business units to ensure delivery of target-state capabilities.
- Ensure architecture remains fit-for-purpose through continuous review, modernization, and refinement.
- 2. Technical Architecture & Design
- Architect secure solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud environments (especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) including identity, networking, data, and application layers.
- Securing Applications and API.
- Perform technical assessments, threat modeling, and design reviews for enterprise-scale platforms and high-risk systems.
- Design and validate Zero Trust architectures across identity, device, network, application, and data layers.
- Define enterprise security architecture guardrails, controls, and patterns aligned to NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, Zero Trust, and industry regulations.
- Support architecture governance boards, ensuring all designs adhere to security standards.
- Identify systemic, long-term structural risks and drive enterprise remediation initiatives
- 4. Delivery Leadership
- Translate architectural strategy into actionable, sequenced roadmaps with clear deliverables, success criteria, and dependencies.
- Track roadmap progress, remove blockers, and ensure alignment with enterprise technology direction.
- Influence budget planning and investment decisions for security capabilities.
- 5. Executive Advisory & Cross-Functional Influence
- Act as a trusted advisor to CIO, CISO, CTO, and business executives on strategic risk, architecture, and technology choices.
- Communicate complex architecture and risk topics in a clear, outcome-driven manner to senior leadership.
- Collaborate proactively with enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, Dev Ops, and platform teams to align designs.
- Evaluate new security technologies, patterns, and industry trends with a balanced view of risk, value, and scalability.
- Lead POCs and technology evaluations focused on automation, AI/ML, behavioral analytics, identity modernization, and cloud-native security.
- Champion adoption of innovative practices that improve resilience, automation, and operational efficiency, including AI / ML.
- What you'll bring;
- 20+ years of cybersecurity leadership, with at least 10 in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
- Expertise across multiple technological domains and enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
- Demonstrated success leading teams to deliver architectural roadmaps and capability uplift.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements across global environments.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred
- Certifications include: CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, CCIE Security, GIAC (GSEC/GDSA) and Cloud provider certifications.
- Experience in highly regulated sectors (Telecom, Finance, etc.).
