What you'll be doing:

  • Manage projects across various areas, including Web and App software development, Broadband, Middleware app deployment, and more.
  • Identify and manage key stakeholder relationships quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that the project(s) or initiative(s) produce the required deliverables to the agreed standard of quality and within the specified constraints of cost, risk and time.
  • Develop and gain agreement of the project plan, then provide regular progress reports to key stakeholders, as well as providing all general project communications.
  • Experience with project pipeline and programme roadmap.
  • Implement and maintain a consistent project management methodology, ensuring the project(s) conform(s) to the appropriate governance, including all project documentation.
  • Process improvement or process creation and implementation.
  • Determine, procure and manage appropriate resources to deliver the project (functional or divisional team and a small number of third parties), as well as managing all aspects of risks, issues and contingency.
  • Experience with programme resourcing, and the resourcing processes.

What experience you'll bring:

  • Experience with project governance processes and procedure.
  • Experience performing project governance activities on client projects.
  • Experience working in a Project Management Office environment is an advantage.
  • Experience managing RAID in a programme and project environment.
  • Risk management, Actions, Dependencies and Issues.
  • Reporting on RAID progress and proactively progressing RAID activities with stakeholders.
  • Financial management: understanding of how forecasting resource and expense costs make up the programme/project, reporting financial progress by project, managing financial data in the programme PPM tool.
  • Typically managed small project budgets, i.e. a central project budget up to £1m.
