At NTT DATA, we are looking for a Principal BPO/BPaaS Sales Lead based in the UK&I region. This remote position will include client visits. The role is for our Agentic AI Customer Service business and involves partnering with senior executives to deliver AI‑driven BPO and BPaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Market‑maker who proactively initiates and secures deals, building demand and relationships with decision‑makers.
- Subject Matter Expert in at least one of the following industries: banking & financial services, fintech, insurance, manufacturing/retail/consumer, travel & hospitality, hi‑tech, energy & utilities, telecom, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Use a consultative approach to understand client challenges, craft customized transformative BPO/BPaaS propositions that leverage AI and automation, and create win‑win opportunities.
- Lead the end‑to‑end sales cycle, collaborating with solution architects, pricing teams, legal, and operations to structure multi‑million‑dollar ACV BPO deals and close contracts.
- Develop and execute a strategic go‑to‑market plan with business leaders, sales teams, alliance partners, and marketing to generate market awareness and demand.
- Build executive‑level relationships with COOs, CIOs, CFOs, and Heads of Operations.
- Stay current on industry and AI/technology trends, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies relevant to BPO.
- Act as a thought leader, participating in industry forums, panels, and client advisory boards to elevate the brand.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally 15+ years of experience in BPO/Business Process Services sales focused on transformative outsourcing and contact centre models.
- Demonstrated success with large, complex global BPO deals, ideally exceeding $20 M total contract value.
- Experience selling transformative customer‑experience and industry‑specific core value‑chain deals.
- Strong financial acumen and capability to structure complex deal constructs.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience working within or selling to Fortune 1000 clients.
