Senior SAP Ariba Buying Consultant in London

The Senior Ariba role is a key and influencing role within the NTT DATA Business Solutions (NDBS) Supply Chain practice. The successful candidate will be part of a wider team responsible for the design and implementation of SAP solutions to our customer base and to meet our customer's needs. As a Senior Expert, you will support customer engagements and perform delivery of the SAP Ariba solutions working alongside Solution Architects, Project Managers and the Integration Team to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions integrated into core SAP ERP and non‐SAP solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Work closely with customer and NDBS sales and business development teams to translate business requirements into a solution that takes advantage of the SAP Ariba capabilities, architecting SAP Ariba within the overall solution landscape.
• Collaboratively compile statements of works to support any stage of the sales and deal review processes.
• Lead and co‐ordinate integrated workshops with detail and complexity with Senior Stakeholders in the customer business.
• Provide thought leadership to NDBS and its customers focused on procurement strategy, based on SAP Ariba solutions and the SAP Ariba product roadmap.
• Act as the design authority on the projects ensuring the quality and integrity of SAP Ariba solutions being implemented is aligned to industry best practice.
• Engage in self‐directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments to ensure NDBS remains at the forefront of the market.
• Share, use and communicate expert knowledge in order to develop others and make business processes more effective.
• Recognise potential for repeat and extended business with respect to end‐to‐end service offer by NDBS and provide comprehensive input.
• Support NDBS to grow our business by being alert to the customer opportunities that present themselves.
• Have strength and depth in delivery and configuration expertise in the SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, SAP Ariba Source to Contract and Ariba Supplier Management solutions.
• Have experience and knowledge of the Source to Pay and Supplier Management business processes for both Direct and Indirect Spend.
• Experience of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA Sourcing, Procurement and Accounts Payable processes would be advantageous.
• Cloud ERP (S/4HANA Public Cloud) experience, Ariba Buying base edition experience and awareness of the Procurement Expansion Pack.

PERSONAL PROFILE – EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate between 6+ years of professional experience working within a SAP Ariba consulting environment. Experience working with a value added re‐seller or software house would be advantageous. Proven and demonstrable experience in solution design and architecture with successful delivery and experience of all elements of between 4 and 6 full project lifecycles.
