Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant specialising in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) to join our growing ServiceNow practice. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimising ServiceNow Asset Management solutions that help customers gain visibility, control costs, reduce compliance risk and improve lifecycle management across hardware and software assets. Working alongside Solution Architects, Business Analysts and customer stakeholders, you will deliver scalable, best-practice ServiceNow solutions whilst supporting clients through the full implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow Asset Management solutions.
- Design, configure and implement ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions.
- Configure and maintain CMDB relationships to support accurate asset and configuration management.
- Implement and optimise Discovery to improve asset visibility and reconciliation.
- Configure asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, deployment, transfers, maintenance, retirement and disposal.
- Configure software models, software entitlements and licence reconciliation processes.
- Implement software licence optimisation and compliance reporting.
- Design workflows to automate asset requests, approvals and fulfilment.
- Configure integrations with procurement systems, SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Tanium and other asset discovery tools.
- Support software publisher management including Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, VMware and other major vendors.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into asset health, utilisation, compliance and financial performance.
- Produce technical documentation and solution designs.
- Support platform upgrades and enhancement activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with architects, developers and customer stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
To be considered, you must have at least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience, with strong expertise in Asset Management.
