The purpose of the Director of Operations role is to lead a team in order to:
- Deliver seamless business operations across the business for efficient performance
- Manage Business Operations Systems, data, insight and analytics
- Manage Sales Operations
- Manage utilisation, satisfaction of staffing requirements and bench
- Manage staffing supply & demand across the business for optimum capacity management including both in-year capacity management and strategic resource management
- Manage Operational support for service Lines
- Actively identify and facilitate productivity and efficiency opportunities
What you'll be doing:
- Leadership: Lead and manage the UK Business Operations team
- Data, Insight, Business Systems and Operations: Overall responsibility for time management – i.e. ensuring that all staff in the business area / Division book to the correct time codes and submit timesheets on time. Overall responsibility to lead a team in order to provide the business with workforce insights and analytics.
- Sales Operations: Manage Sales Forecasts (working closely with finance, BMs). Model Sales and workforce and anticipated revenue scenarios. Ensure that opportunities progress through the pipeline effectively and efficiently, and identify opportunities to increase our conversion rate and shorten our sales cycle. Establish and champion a common sales culture across NTT DATA UK’s sales teams.
