The team you’ll be working with

As our GTM Business development lead, you will be part of the GTM (Go-To-Market) & Business Development community within the NTT DATA Salesforce Practice across the UK & Ireland, reporting directly to the Head of GTM & Business Development

Aligned to Sectors, working alongside Client Partners, Industry Leaders, Marketing, Alliances and Delivery teams, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and expanding strategic client relationships.

Your focus will be on identifying, developing and closing high-value Salesforce transformation opportunities across enterprise organisations, positioning NTT DATA as a trusted strategic partner.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across our global practices, industry teams and strategic partners to deliver sustainable growth and create long‑term value for our clients.

What you’ll be doing

As an GTM lead, you will be responsible for creating, developing and closing strategic sales opportunities across the UK & Ireland Salesforce Practice.

You will own the sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to contract signature, building trusted executive relationships and driving profitable growth.

  • Business Development & Pipeline Growth
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of enterprise Salesforce opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries and strategic accounts.
  • Drive proactive prospecting, networking and client engagement to generate sustainable pipeline growth.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales reporting.
  • Enterprise Sales
  • Lead complex enterprise sales opportunities from qualification through to contract signature.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C‑suite executives.
  • Develop account growth strategies that align with client business priorities.
  • Navigate complex buying organisations and manage multi‑stakeholder sales processes.
  • Account Growth
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships through cross‑sell and upsell initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Client Partners and account teams to maximise long‑term client value.
  • Develop strategic account plans focused on revenue growth and executive engagement.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of client priorities, challenges and transformation agendas.
  • Go‑to‑Market Execution
  • Execute the Salesforce go‑to‑market strategy within your assigned markets and industries.
  • Position NTT DATA's Salesforce capabilities with clear business outcomes and measurable value.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Alliances on targeted campaigns, events and client engagement activities.
  • Share market insights and client feedback to continuously improve our propositions.
  • Alliance & Partner Engagement
  • Work collaboratively with Salesforce and strategic alliance partners to identify joint opportunities.
  • Participate in co‑selling initiatives and partner‑led campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem to increase market visibility and opportunity generation.
  • Maximise partner engagement to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Commercial Leadership
  • Lead commercial negotiations with support from legal, finance and leadership teams.
  • Develop compelling commercial strategies that deliver value for both clients and NTT DATA.
  • Ensure opportunities progress efficiently through governance and approval processes.
  • Deliver against agreed revenue, order intake and margin objectives.
  • Market Presence & Thought Leadership
  • Represent NTT DATA at industry events, executive forums and client engagements.
  • Build a strong personal brand within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Share market intelligence, competitor insights and emerging client trends.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients shape their transformation ambitions.
  • Collaboration & Culture
  • Work closely with Delivery, Consulting, Industry and Alliance teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Foster a collaborative and client‑centric culture across the Salesforce Practice.
  • Share best practice, market insight and sales successes across the wider GTM & Growth community.
  • Champion NTT DATA's values and commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

What experience you’ll bring

  • Proven success in enterprise sales within consulting, technology or professional services.
  • Demonstrated track record of winning and closing complex, multi‑million‑pound enterprise opportunities.
  • Experience selling digital transformation, cloud or enterprise technology solutions to large organisations.
  • Strong executive relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and driving new business growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex enterprise agreements.
  • Experience working collaboratively with strategic alliance partners, ideally Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly motivated, self‑driven and passionate about delivering sustainable business growth.
