We are seeking a highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive Mid-weight Content Producer to join our video team. This role will be instrumental in bringing both high‑profile and grassroots projects to life, with a strong emphasis on vertical content. Founded in 2011, NTS provides curious minds with a home for bold, diverse and discerning music discovery. Today, we’re a global platform and creative ecosystem — broadcasting from around the world, elevating artists on the peripheries and collaborating with some of the most revered names in music, fashion, and culture.
As Mid-weight Content Producer, you will collaborate closely with our Music, Marketing, and Creative Studio teams to develop innovative, engaging content while ensuring that projects run seamlessly from conception through to final delivery. Reporting directly to NTS’ Head of Video & Executive Producer, you will play a key role in driving projects forward—managing timelines, anticipating and resolving challenges, and ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard. You will also leverage your freelance network to secure talent and negotiate fair rates, helping to maximise both creative output and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Traffic management & scheduling of the vertical content, ensuring efficient workflow, clear communication, and timely completion of all deliverables.
- Lead on the planning, budgeting, and execution of vertical productions, overseeing projects from pre‑production through to online delivery.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Maintain clear, organised, and up‑to‑date production records by developing and maintaining comprehensive documents including timelines, budgets, call sheets, risk assessments, shoot schedules, supplier contracts, and post‑production schedules.
- Track and reconcile production and project expenses, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Liaise with clients, talent, and external suppliers, managing expectations and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain strong, long‑term industry relationships and negotiate favourable rates with suppliers and freelancers.
- Represent NTS on set, delivering exceptional client and talent service while ensuring a professional, positive shoot experience.
- Coordinate and lead relevant production meetings, ensuring everyone is aligned on deliverables and timelines, including detailed pre‑production meetings with talent, clients, and internal / external teams.
- Oversee travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics as required for shoots.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in video production, content trends, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure content is innovative, engaging, and aligned with NTS’ brand identity.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years proven experience as a Mid-weight Producer in video content working with music talent and/or cultural brands.
- Strong production experience across a variety of content formats (social‑first / vertical, brand ads, stills, live sessions, documentaries and/or video broadcasts).
- Excellent knowledge of vertical/social‑first content production (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Hands‑on knowledge of production processes from pre‑production to online delivery.
- Good understanding of post‑production workflows and software (Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, production timelines, shoot schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Established network of freelance crew and suppliers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage clients, talent, and suppliers effectively.
- Proactive problem solver who can remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of emerging video platforms and formats, and a passion for music, culture, and creative storytelling.
- Ability to bring fresh ideas to elevate NTS’ visual storytelling.
Contract & Benefits
- This is a 12 month fixed‑term contract, full‑time position based in London.
- Monday, Friday WFH and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday work in the Dalston HQ.
- Flexible start time 9am – 5pm / 9:30am – 5:30pm / 10am – 6pm.
- 23 days holiday / year + bank holidays.
