We are seeking an experienced User Experience Service Designer to drive a human-centered design process on a significant long-term project (Dec 2025 - Sep 2026), supporting a major global System Integration Partner. This role is a hybrid position based in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area.

The Role:

  • You will act as the subject matter expert, responsible for framing services, conducting deep research, and ensuring design solutions meet user needs while aligning with complex enterprise business and technical strategy.
  • Research & Synthesis: Conduct ethnographic research and synthesize human insights, balancing them against enterprise constraints.
  • Facilitation: Lead workshops to gather insights, foster collaboration, and drive team consensus across multiple project streams.
  • Visualization: Create user journey maps and develop prototypes to visualize, test, and validate concepts.
  • Leadership: Manage team activities, make key design decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams within the SI partner's delivery framework.
  • Testing: Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

Essential Expertise:

  • Advanced proficiency in User Experience (UX) Research is required.
  • Strong practical experience in Service Design Thinking and Design Thinking principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in User Research and System Designs within large, complex organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Client Type - Global System Integration Partner
  • Duration - 10 Months (Dec 2025 – Sep 2026)
  • Location - Hybrid 2 days a week onsite in Newcastle-upon-Tyne
  • Daily Rate - £370.59/Day PAYE contract Inside IR35.
  • Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days (25 days + 8 Bank holidays)
