Senior System Administrator
Senior System Administrator is sought by a highly innovative start-up in the energy space to join their IT team who are rapidly expanding and acquiring other businesses. Consequentially they require a well-practised Senior System Administrator to impact their mission to innovate their Microsoft systems across Windows Server, Microsoft Server and Azure Cloud as well as provisioning and administering their VMware environment.
As Senior System Administrator you will design, implement, and manage Azure cloud resources, ensuring high availability and scalability and monitor cloud performance and optimize resources for cost-effectiveness as well as administer and support VMware environments, ensuring virtual machines\’ performance and availability; conducting regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting to maintain stability. As well as oversee their MS Server environment and administer configurations, patches and monitoring via SCCM.

Senior System Administrator permanent profile required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure cloud technologies and VMware environments.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency in SCCM administration and endpoint management.
- Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices.
- Bachelor\’s or higher degree in Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering or similar.
