Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced

Cloud Solutions Architect to join their IT Service Management (ITSM) team.

The role is aligned with ITIL best practices and focuses on the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable solutions within their private Azure infrastructure

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cloud computing, deep knowledge of Azure architecture, and a solid understanding of governance, security, and cost optimization within enterprise cloud environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Azure Architecture & Design
  • Design and implement
  • High-Level Designs (HLD) and
  • Low-Level Designs (LLD) for scalable, secure, and reliable Azure solutions (Iaa S & Paa S)

• Ensure compliance with security standards including

  • SSO
  • Internet exposure controls
  • Account management
  • Network segregation
  • Identity and access management
  • Support application owners throughout the design and build lifecycle
  • Contribute to
  • Fin Ops initiatives by supporting cost efficiency analysis and optimization
  • Collaborate with the monitoring team to configure cloud monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and proactively recommend improvements
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Act as custodian of group norms and policies
  • Ensure use of only business applications and MIS services compliant with the AGL IT catalogue
  • Apply AGL Group security and licensing policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation in line with company standards
  • Conduct technology watch activities and anticipate relevant innovations
  • Required Qualifications
  • BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • ITIL Practitioner (V3) or ITIL Specialist (V4)
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications

  • Azure Administrator
  • Azure Solutions Architect
  • Prince2, PMP, or equivalent
  • Advantage
