Our client, a well-established concern within the Automotive sector has a vacancy for a Supply Chain Coordinator, based South of Durban. Support the overall efficiency of the department by accurately processing orders, managing stock levels, and maintaining clear communication with customers and export markets. Proactively resolve issues and uphold strong business relationships.
Education and Experience

- Relevant tertiary degree
- Min 3 – 5 years related experience
- Computer literacy: Intermediate MS Office and SAP
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process accurate sales and purchase orders in SAP, ensuring correct pricing and FIFO principles.
- Manage daily inventory levels, support stock reduction initiatives, and ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Resolve invoice queries promptly and provide variance reports for approval.
- Minimise risk relating to urgent, air, or hand-carry shipments.
- Maintain accurate customer information and build strong, service-focused relationships.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and support continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and ensure accurate reporting and order balancing.
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and ensure SAP data is correct and up to date.
- Identify operational issues and elevate where required; suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Manage quotation requests, create accurate rundown sheets, and support urgent shipment decisions.
- Ensure all required documentation, authorisations, and check sheets are completed and submitted.
- Participate in training, personal development initiatives, and work towards performance targets.
- Maintain positive working relationships and uphold company policies and 5S standards.
- Support special projects as needed and participate in quarterly stock counts.
- Conduct daily warehouse visits to remain informed on stock status.
