North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions is an NHS owned company of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant will be an employee of the subsidiary and not the NHS. North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions offers its own Terms and Conditions of employment which differ from the national NHS Terms and Conditions.

Job overview:

Two roles based at The Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality service and support to Theatres in relation to all Inventory Management activities. Working under the supervision of the Trauma and Orthopaedic Supplies Supervisor, the successful candidate will be expected to ensure a smooth logistical flow of goods throughout Theatres and additional areas. The role requires the candidate to have knowledge and experience of stock control, supplies/stores functions and providing excellent levels of customer service. The ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation is an essential requirement. This is a physically demanding role, and the successful candidate must understand and consistently follow all Health and Safety requirements related to manual and object handling.

To provide a high quality service and support to Theatres in relation to, but not limited to:

  • Purchase orders
  • Receipt & Distribution
  • Implantable device management
  • General stock management
  • Stock rotation and managing reduction in waste
