We’re looking for a highly organised, collaborative, and career-focused Finance Assistant to join our growing team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied finance environment, is eager to learn, and wants to develop new skills while supporting the smooth running of our finance operations.

What you'll be doing

As Finance Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our Finance team, working closely with colleagues to manage reconciliations, expenses, invoices, and project administration. You’ll report to the Senior Finance Manager, gaining exposure to new finance projects and developing your career in a dynamic, supportive environment.

  • Reconciling and processing all company credit cards.
  • Checking and processing staff expenses.
  • Monitoring the accounts payable inbox and managing invoice authorisations through Acumatica.
  • Managing project administration in the accounting and expenses systems.
  • Providing general administrative and finance support to the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Director.
  • Assisting on ad-hoc finance projects and tasks as required.

What you will bring

We’re looking for someone who is ambitious, a strong team player, and keen to grow their career in finance.

  • Ideally 1+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or expense processing, with a good understanding of VAT.
  • Strong Excel skills (experience with Acumatica or Webexpenses is desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude, with the willingness to learn new finance systems and processes.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while being a supportive team player.
