Overview
AI Solutions Engineer (Internal Innovation) — Location: UK / Hybrid (with flexibility across locations).
At Nteractive, we’re obsessed with pushing boundaries — from live events to digital experiences. We’re turning that ambition inward. We’re looking for a hands-on AI Solutions Engineer to define and deliver our internal AI roadmap — not just in theory, but in code. This role is for a builder, not just a strategist. You’ll be at the forefront of how AI transforms our business, designing and deploying real working solutions that make our teams faster, smarter, and more scalable.
You’ll collaborate across every function — events, operations, marketing, HR — identifying opportunities where AI can eliminate friction and unlock potential. From intelligent automation to generative assistants, you’ll prototype, ship, and iterate at speed. This is a rare opportunity to be the internal first-mover — setting the foundations for how AI is adopted now and scaled long-term across the entire organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
As AI Solutions Engineer, you’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI innovation — from discovery through to delivery and enablement.
- Discovery & Strategy: Lead internal discovery projects (surveys, interviews, workflow mapping) to identify AI opportunities
- Audit current AI usage (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) and recommend improvements
- Prioritise and define high-impact AI use cases aligned with business goals
- Maintain a clear and actionable AI roadmap
- Execution & Delivery: Design, prototype and deploy AI-powered solutions using tools like Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and other automation platforms
- Engineer integrations between AI services and existing systems
- Rapidly iterate alongside stakeholders and IT
- Define KPIs and measure ROI across initiatives
- Make informed build-vs-buy decisions
- Change Management & Enablement: Upskill employees on responsible and effective AI usage
- Create internal best practices and guidelines for AI adoption
- Act as the internal AI evangelist and go-to expert
- Partner with IT & Security to ensure compliant deployment
- Client & Event Innovation: Prototype AI tools that improve client planning & event delivery — from scheduling assistants to personalised analytics
- Work with event teams to pilot real-time AI enhancements (chat-based concierge services, automated content generation, post-event summaries, etc.)
- Scale solutions that elevate both efficiency and experience
What You Will Bring
You don’t need to be a machine learning researcher — but you do need to understand the AI landscape and know how to turn ideas into working solutions.
- Proven track record in AI implementation, automation, or digital transformation
- Strong understanding of modern AI technologies (especially LLMs & generative AI)
- Hands-on experience building and launching internal tools or workflows
- Ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions
- Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or similar platforms
Bonus Points For
- Experience within consulting, events, or professional services environments
- Low-code / no-code development skills
- Exposure to training, enablement, or change management programmes
Key Traits
- Strategic thinker with a builder’s mindset
- Curious, pragmatic, and delivery-focused
- Clear communicator and natural facilitator
- Confident, able to drive change and manage stakeholders with gravitas
- Thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
