The Opportunity

Nter Talent are currently looking for a supply chain executive who can take ownership of sites, raise standards, and keep our operations running smoothly across both HQ and wider sites.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maximise availability and minimise inventory/clearance risk across a range of products from key suppliers.
  • Keep stock of all assigned products within agreed stock holding and service level targets.
  • Minimise losses from obsolescence and expiry, and control stock holding costs (interest, storage) and demurrage or other penalty costs from import activity.
  • Check monthly National Account Manager forecasts against last plan and historic performance by product.
  • Create requirements and plans by product and supplier (including reworked products), in line with agreed stock cover targets, and issue and confirm purchase orders with suppliers and Corwen.
  • Check procurement plans against stock targets and adjust as required.
  • Manage product availability weekly, identifying under- or over-stocked lines and taking appropriate action; drive clearance of overstocked or short-dated stock.
  • Keep delivery costs accurate on the system, and communicate weekly with suppliers and the sales force on forecast availability.
  • Keep order and payment administration on target with Finance, and flag unexpected issues to the sales force promptly.
  • Optimise availability of listed lines held in third-party warehousing (Ceva), balanced against stock held in own warehouse; manage stock age and write-offs.
  • Liaise with the operations team on stock transfers between the company and third-party warehouses.
  • Run the rework planning cycle – forecast checks, requirements and rework plans with the Rework Manager – and keep Bills of Materials for rework SKUs accurate and up to date.
  • Support the business in identifying and onboarding alternative suppliers where needed, managing the process to minimise risk to current supply.
  • Manage stock held on hold, drawdown and uninspected status, keeping only genuinely affected stock under these classifications while protecting service levels.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, operations, quality assurance, accounts payable, the Corwen management team, and the National Account Management and marketing teams.
  • Own right-first-time administration – orders, rework paperwork and reporting – and be a clear, proactive communicator when issues need resolving.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working within FMCG, ideally with previous supply chain exposure (import/container experience is a plus).
  • Educated to A level, preferably with a degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Computer literate across Word and Excel, ideally with SAP and MRP system experience.
  • A good mathematical background and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to manage supplier and internal relationships.
  • High attention to detail and a right-first-time approach to administration.
  • A highly motivated, fast-paced working style, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
