We’re hiring a Supply Chain Planner to manage day-to-day planning across production, transport, and supply within a fresh produce operation. This role is hands-on and fast-moving, especially during peak harvest. You’ll be coordinating plans between farms, packhouse, transport partners, and internal teams to make sure product is packed, moved, and delivered on time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and managing daily and weekly plans based on customer demand and harvest availability
- Planning raw materials, packaging, equipment, and labour with procurement and warehouse teams
- Coordinating transport with third-party hauliers for inbound materials and outbound finished product
- Working directly with farms and growers to align picking schedules with production plans
- Monitoring packhouse progress and adjusting plans to reduce downtime, waste, and delays
- Spotting bottlenecks and working with operations to resolve them quickly
- Keeping stock levels accurate across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Using planning systems (including Winternet) to manage data, capacity, and inventory
- Communicating plan changes clearly to production, quality, and commercial teams
- Supporting audits and ensuring planning activities align with food safety and site standards
- Analysing performance data and reporting on output, variances, and KPIs
- Stepping in operationally during peak periods or when plans change at short notice

- Experience in planning, supply chain, or logistics within food, fresh produce, or FMCG
- Comfortable working with farms, hauliers, and on-site production teams
- Strong organisational skills and able to adapt plans quickly
- Confident using planning systems and working with data
