We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor to take day-to-day ownership of food safety and quality within a fresh produce operation. This is a practical, on-site role focused on keeping standards tight, audits on track, and issues dealt with quickly. You’ll manage a small QA team and work closely with production to make sure quality is built into the process, not checked in at the end.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and supporting the QA team on shift
- Checking raw materials and finished products meet specifications and legal requirements
- Managing traceability, non-conformances, and corrective actions
- Running internal audits and supporting customer and certification audits (BRC, Red Tractor)
- Maintaining HACCP and GMP systems
- Keeping QA records accurate and up to date
- Working alongside production to resolve quality issues as they happen
- Reporting into the Operations Manager
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in QA or food safety within fresh produce or food manufacturing
- Comfortable with audits, compliance, and day-to-day problem solving
- Practical, organised, and able to communicate clearly with production teams
