Nter Talent is exclusively partnering with an established FMCG business undergoing a period of targeted investment across its commercial function. As part of a renewed focus on Grocery channels, this is a newly created role with clear visibility and scope to shape category strategy in these areas.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact category role sitting within the Marketing function, with responsibility for building and delivering the Grocery agenda. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to turn insight into action, strengthen customer partnerships, and ensure the business is positioned effectively across these channels. There is also the opportunity to contribute to a significant commercial project within the Impulse channel, offering real exposure and the chance to influence key decisions at an important stage of growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead category partnerships with key Grocery customers, providing insight that drives action
  • Own and deliver channel strategies, translating data into clear and commercially focused recommendations
  • Support Sales teams with category insight, tools, and materials to strengthen customer conversations
  • Build compelling category stories using data sources such as Nielsen, Circana, Bid view or similar
  • Act as the voice of the shopper, ensuring insight is embedded across the commercial cycle

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Category Management within FMCG or food and drink
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight
  • Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience across Foodservice or Convenience or Grocery channels would be advantageous
