About the Role

We’re working with a well-established facilities management company that’s on the lookout for a confident, hands-on Operations Manager to take the lead across several busy depot sites in London.

If you enjoy keeping things running smoothly, leading great teams, and building strong client relationships — this could be the perfect next step. You’ll be overseeing day-to-day operations across sites including Lea Interchange, Rainham, Plumstead, Catford, Kangley Bridge, and Bromley, making sure everything runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This is a role for someone who loves variety — no two days are the same. One day you might be fine-tuning rotas and budgets, the next you’re out on site, supporting your team and ensuring clients are happy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing daily operations across multiple sites and making sure services are delivered to a high standard.
  • Leading, supporting, and motivating teams — from recruitment and training to performance and development.
  • Keeping an eye on budgets, costs, and stock to make sure everything’s running efficiently.
  • Handling rotas, payroll, and reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Working closely with clients — building trust, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Promoting a strong health and safety culture, leading by example every day.
  • Rolling up your sleeves when needed — showing your team what “good” looks like.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll already have experience managing operations and teams, ideally within facilities management or a similar fast-paced environment. You’re organised, approachable, and know how to get the best out of people.

You’ll need:

  • Proven background in operations or contract management.
  • Solid leadership and communication skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • A full UK driving licence (Category B).

What’s in It for You

This company really values its people. You’ll be joining a supportive team where hard work is recognised and development is encouraged.

You’ll enjoy:

  • £46,000 salary + £400 monthly bonus
  • Access to a reward & recognition platform
  • Great opportunities for training and career growth
  • Friendly, people-focused working culture
  • Company pension scheme
  • On-site parking
  • Cycle to Work and Smart Tech salary sacrifice schemes
  • Discounts on over 3,000 brands for you, your family & friends
