Ready to step into a role where you’re not just running a transport operation, you’re shaping the future of it? This is a senior leadership position at a long-established, highly respected bulk transport business operating in one of the most safety-critical sectors in the UK. With major growth planned over the next 3–5 years, this is your chance to take a high-performing operation and make it exceptional.

You’ll have full ownership of compliance and operational standards, and be the person who sets the tone for safety, performance, and culture across multiple sites. It’s senior. It’s visible. And it genuinely matters.

You will take the wheel on all things transport, from legal & safety to efficiency and commercials. You’ll be trusted with end-to-end accountability for:

  • Full Operator Licence, compliance & OCRS performance
  • Setting the benchmark for safety, behaviour, and professional standards
  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and overall driver engagement
  • Delivering the Transport Safety Plan and driving a proactive safety culture

  • Strong, current knowledge of UK transport legislation
  • A firm, fair, consistent approach that builds respect and engagement
