The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth across the organisation by securing new business opportunities and supporting the retention and expansion of existing contracts. With a focus on both Soft and Hard FM services, the role leads the end-to-end business development lifecycle — from opportunity identification and tender management to contract mobilisation and client handover.
Working closely with the Commercial Director and Managing Director, you will help to shape and execute the company’s commercial strategy, strengthening market presence and positioning the business competitively across the UK. This role requires a proactive, commercially astute leader with outstanding communication skills, strong organisational capability, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of FM operations is essential to produce compelling proposals, prepare accurate costings, and support delivery teams during mobilisation.
