Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting for two Electronic Security Service Engineers to join an established field engineering team covering the South Midlands. This is a field-based service and maintenance position working predominantly across CCTV and Access Control systems, supporting a varied portfolio of commercial, blue-chip and public-sector customers.

We are open to speaking with both experienced Security Service Engineers and engineers who have recently completed an apprenticeship or qualification within electronic security and are ready to take the next step in their career.

The Role

  • As an Electronic Security Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding across a range of electronic security systems.
  • Servicing and maintaining CCTV and Access Control systems
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs
  • Providing a professional service to customers on site
  • Completing relevant service and maintenance documentation
  • Working alongside remote technical support teams to resolve customer issues
  • Participating in an on-call rota

The business has a remote support function that initially troubleshoots customer issues before field engineers are dispatched, meaning engineers will often have initial fault information available before attending site.

We are also open to applications from candidates who have recently completed an Electronic Security or Fire & Security apprenticeship. You don’t need years of post-qualification experience, but you should have practical exposure to electronic security systems and be ready to develop into a field-based service engineer. If you’ve recently qualified and have hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control or wider security systems, we’d still like to hear from you.

Paid overtime - Strong additional earning potential through overtime and the on-call rota - Permanent position - Established field engineering operation - Due to the field-based nature of the role, you must be comfortable travelling throughout your allocated territory.

If you’re an experienced Security Engineer looking for a more service-focused position, or you’ve recently finished your apprenticeship and are ready for your next move, apply today and we’ll be in touch to discuss the role in more detail.
