The Role
The Management Accountant position is a key hire within the finance function. You will take ownership of the financial reporting and accounting for a portfolio of group entities, operating within a multi-entity, high-growth environment. This role offers broad exposure across management accounting, stakeholder partnering, audit, and process improvement, making it well suited to a qualified accountant looking to add real commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of daily transactional accounting within assigned entities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with group reporting deadlines
- Delivery of clear P&L variance analysis, articulating performance against budget and identifying key trends
- Detailed balance sheet and cashflow reviews as part of the monthly close process
- Oversight of weekly cashflow forecasting, including variance analysis
- Ensuring intercompany reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
- Acting as a finance partner to local senior leadership, supporting operational and commercial decision-making
- Leading audit activity for designated entities, liaising directly with external auditors
- Producing ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic decisions
- Continually reviewing and improving processes to drive efficiency and best practice
About You
- PQ/Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong analytical skills with a logical, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing deadlines
- Confident communicator across finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Experience within a multi-entity or group environment is highly desirable
- Embraces change and enjoys working in fast-paced, evolving organisations
