Demand Planner (Fragrance & Beauty)

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Demand Planner to support forecasting, planning and inventory optimisation across a global fragrance and beauty portfolio.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning and international teams to ensure stock is available on time and in full, while improving forecast accuracy and strengthening demand planning processes.

This role suits someone analytical, detail‑driven and commercially aware — confident working with large data sets, forecasting tools and cross‑functional stakeholders.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support demand planning across all brands, maintaining rolling forecasts for active and new SKUs.
  • Collate market forecasts and update planning tools (SAP & Netstock).
  • Monitor forecast accuracy monthly by brand and customer group, highlighting key changes and risks.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
  • Identify and manage end‑of‑life item forecasts.
  • Lead formal forecast meetings with Account Managers to review short‑ and medium‑term demand.
  • Produce monthly S&OP analysis and support S&OP meetings across sales, supply and demand.
  • Attend seasonal alignment meetings to agree seasonal forecasts.
  • Organise monthly forecast approval meetings with the Senior Demand Planning Manager.
  • Support risk assessments and mitigation planning.
  • Work closely with production planners to ensure planned production meets approved requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across internal and international departments.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc sales analysis at both aggregate and SKU level.
  • Deliver operational KPIs including Forecast Error (FE), Forecast Accuracy (FA), MAPE%, BIAS% and phase‑out forecasting.
  • Drive continuous improvement of demand planning tools, processes and IT infrastructure.
  • Strengthen statistical forecasting capability to improve demand prediction and manage uncertainty.
  • What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in personal care, beauty or FMCG is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in demand planning, business planning or supply chain planning.
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting, demand planning and S&OP processes.
  • Experience implementing or working with forecasting systems.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness of the full supply chain, including supply planning and customer supply chain teams.
  • Ability to spot anomalies in large data sets and propose solutions.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V‑Lookups, data sorting).
  • Experience with SAP Business One and Netstock is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills.
  • Quick learner with initiative‑taking problem‑solving ability.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
