Manchester – 3 days office, 2 Home Working

My client, a leading technology company is looking for an organised and detail-focused Purchasing Coordinator to support the Procurement team with the day-to-day management of purchasing activities.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring purchase orders are accurately raised, submitted to suppliers and tracked through to completion, while keeping internal teams updated on order and delivery status.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and process purchase orders and obtain supplier acknowledgements
- Track deliveries and provide updates to internal teams
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and queries
- Manage the shared purchasing inbox and prioritise requests
- Support reporting on outstanding orders and purchasing activity
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and efficiency
- Provide team cover when required
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with purchase orders, invoicing or procurement is desirable
- Good Excel skills and experience using CRM/ERP systems
