Our client is seeking a Senior Business Development/Client Director to join their expanding EMEA sales organisation. This role will be instrumental in spearheading new business acquisition efforts for our products and services portfolio, focusing on identifying growth markets and managing the client sales journey from lead generation to deal closure.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Strong individual contributor: Develop and execute a customer acquisition strategy aimed at driving accelerated annual growth in revenue and bookings across mid-size to enterprise clients.
- Create and implement individual account plans, guiding opportunities through the sales cycle from identification to close, including preparing and submitting RFP responses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success and Delivery, to ensure a seamless sales process and contribute to revenue and bookings growth in target markets and verticals.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of business dynamics within your area of responsibility, enabling informed and strategic business decisions.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events, establishing partnerships to secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service, client satisfaction, and a client-centric approach.
- Support the SVP of Sales in developing and executing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Work closely with Marketing and Product/Technical teams to create sales collateral and materials, ensuring a cohesive customer experience.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify and act on new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Sales Ops and Marketing to develop and deliver proposals and initiatives tailored to customers’ and internal stakeholders’ specific needs.

- Lead and coordinate contract negotiations, driving deals to a successful close.

- Experience with long sales cycles (6 months or more) driven by outcome-based value propositions.
- Consultative sales experience, with the ability to find creative solutions to client challenges.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
