NTA Planning LLP is an independent and highly regarded planning consultancy based in Central London and Harrogate, providing commercially focused planning advice across London and the UK. We are seeking an ambitious Planner / Senior Planner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic planning professional to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential, education, healthcare, commercial and mixed-use developments.

As a small, entrepreneurial consultancy, you'll benefit from genuine responsibility from day one, direct exposure to clients and decision-makers, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping projects whilst contributing to the continued growth of the business.

The Role

  • Managing planning applications from inception through to determination.
  • Preparing planning appraisals, planning statements, and supporting reports.
  • Assisting with planning appeals and enforcement matters.
  • Advising clients on planning strategy and development opportunities.
  • Liaising with local authorities, clients, and external consultants.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice.

About You

  • Is AssocRTPI or MRTPI qualified, or working towards chartership.
  • Has experience managing planning applications and appeals.
  • Possesses strong report-writing and communication skills.
  • Is commercially aware, proactive and client-focused.
  • Enjoys working within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Is organised, motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
