Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain work space.
- Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together.
- Operate and tend automated assembling equipment.
- Position and install parts, subassemblies and accessories.
- Fit and adjust parts.
Certificates & Licences:
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
- Power tools.
- Robotic equipment and systems.
- Callipers.
Inspection or Testing Specialization:
- Transmission, axle, engine and brakes.
Installation Specialization:
- Engines.
- Transmissions.
Work Conditions:
- Standing for extended periods.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Hand‑eye coordination.
- Physically demanding.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Own Tools/Equipment:
- Steel‑toed safety boots.
