Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Work must be completed at the physical location. No remote work.
  • Dusty work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain work space.
  • Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together.
  • Operate and tend automated assembling equipment.
  • Position and install parts, subassemblies and accessories.
  • Fit and adjust parts.

Certificates & Licences:

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

  • Power tools.
  • Robotic equipment and systems.
  • Callipers.

Inspection or Testing Specialization:

  • Transmission, axle, engine and brakes.

Installation Specialization:

  • Engines.
  • Transmissions.

Work Conditions:

  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Hand‑eye coordination.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Own Tools/Equipment:

  • Steel‑toed safety boots.
