NT Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be recruiting for our client's next Quality Lead. Our client is a well-established manufacturer with multiple sites across Scotland, producing branded goods that are shipped to over 100 countries worldwide. They're looking for a Quality Lead to take ownership of day-to-day Quality Operations. This would suit someone currently at Quality Supervisor, Coordinator or Senior Quality Technician level looking to take the next step up in their career, a great opportunity for someone ready to step up into their first Quality leadership role.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring the quality function supports production, supply and NPD, so product is consistently manufactured and despatched to customers.
- Owning End of Line and NPD QA checks, from monitoring through to action.
- Managing quality issues across raw materials, dry goods, finished product and customer concerns, from identification through to corrective and preventive action.
- Setting and maintaining quality standards for raw materials, dry goods and finished product, and making sure operators and Team Leaders are trained and competent.
- Providing cover for the Quality and Process Capability Team Leader and wider QA team.

- Proven experience managing supplier quality performance and building strong supplier relationships.
- A track record investigating quality incidents and driving CAPA through to effective closure.
- Experience working cross-functionally with NPD, Engineering, Production, Procurement and Supply Chain.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management, comfortable influencing at all levels.
- Equally at home on the shop floor and presenting to senior management.
- Confident with Microsoft Office.
