Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a dynamic engineering team in Moray? Nine Twenty Highland are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a busy process/distilling operation where reliability, safety, and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you’ll be part of a proactive team responsible for keeping essential electrical systems and equipment operating safely and efficiently. You’ll work across a range of machinery and process infrastructure, making this a varied and engaging role within a well-known employer in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, control panels, drives, motors, and associated equipment.
  • Ensure electrical SOPs, safety procedures, and QHSE standards are followed at all times.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Work with PLCs, instrumentation and control systems to maintain high process availability.
  • Participate in on-call rota and out-of-hours breakdown support.
  • Work collaboratively with production, engineering and technical teams to drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • Strong track record in electrical maintenance within industrial or process environments.
  • Competence in 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • PLC and instrumentation experience advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
