Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer | East Kilbride
A well established, multi-site manufacturer is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team at their East Kilbride site.
This is a strong opportunity for a mechanical or electrical bias engineer looking for good money on a shift pattern that protects your time off, 7 day fortnight, no night shifts involved.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance across production equipment and lines
- Responding to breakdowns, fault finding and getting plant back up and running quickly and safely
- Booking work through the site CMMS, keeping accurate records of activity and materials used
- Getting involved in continuous improvement work to help drive equipment reliability
- Working as part of a skilled, close knit engineering team
What's needed:
- Qualified multi-skilled engineer, mechanical or electrical bias considered
- FMCG or food manufacturing background preferred, though other fast-paced manufacturing environments will be considered
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team
- Self motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
