An opportunity to join a proactive and innovative leading Scottish business as a Manufacturing Engineer toplay a key role in driving efficiency and performance across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining, developing and optimising both new and existing processes, this role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement and a proactive, solutions-led mindset.
As part of the Operations Team, you will collaborate closely with Production, Technical, Engineering and Quality Control teams, building strong relationships to deliver sustainable improvements and operational excellence.
Key accountabilities
- Analyse process and product performance through engineering studies and statistics
- Ensure the optimisation and stability of current processes and products
- Carry out Root Cause Analysis activities when problems occur on the production line
- Identify and solve potential problems which could lead to product or equipment failures
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives
- Support the design of new processes and systems for both new and existing products
- Support the instillation and commissioning of new equipment and processes
- Lead, support and develop the production support team
