Head of Planning | BYOMA | Glasgow
BYOMA is one of the fastest growing skincare brands in the world, and it’s run from Glasgow. Founder led, hugely ambitious and in full scale up mode, they now need a Head of Planning to build and shape the planning function as the business grows. You’ll own planning end to end, globally. Not one region or one category, the lot. Products made with contract manufacturers in Korea, the UK and the US, sold into markets all over the world, with new launches coming through all the time. It’s complex, fast moving and you’ll be the person who makes it work.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning the demand forecast across every category and market, working hand in hand with Sales, Marketing and Finance
- Building rolling supply plans that keep service high and stock lean
- Placing POs for finished goods, packaging and raw materials
- Keeping contract manufacturers on track in Korea, the UK and the US
- Setting inventory strategy, safety stock and cutting slow moving and obsolete stock
- Running the monthly S&OP cycle
- Planning supply for new product launches
- Leading and growing a small team
Who they want
Someone with 10+ years in supply chain, planning or operations and real leadership experience in FMCG, drinks, personal care, beauty or consumer goods. You’ll know demand planning, supply planning and S&OP inside out, you’ll have managed contract manufacturers, and you’re happy getting stuck into PO placement and supply execution yourself. Strong ERP skills are key, ideally Business Central.
Above all, you’ll have thrived somewhere growing fast. This is a business for someone who likes rolling their sleeves up, wearing a few hats and growing with it.
APICS CPIM or CSCP, skincare or beauty experience and a PE-backed background would all be a bonus.
