What you’ll be doing:

Responsible for coordinating activities of mitigation crews servicing 5 districts, the Area Mitigation Coordinator plays a critical role within the broader community risk team. Collaborating with the Community Risk Planning Coordinator to deliver high-level customer service to both districts and community risk stakeholders, you will oversee suitable task and resource allocation to ensure mitigation works are delivered effectively to enhance community preparedness and reduce bush fire risk. With strong critical analysis, communication and organisational skills, you will be a skilled planner able to effectively delegate tasks and resources to meet organisational outcomes. You will be a proven leader, able to develop and support teams remotely, foster positive workplace culture and support ongoing professional development.
