This role offers exposure to a broad range of cardiac conditions, with a daily mix of scheduled outpatient studies and inpatient referrals from across the hospital. The service operates within a high-volume clinical environment, requiring strong technical skills, efficiency, and the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Urgent referrals from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department are incorporated into the daily workflow. The role involves working closely with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and support patient care. You will be supported by experienced cardiologists who provide clinical guidance, supervision, and case discussion. The team environment encourages open communication, collaboration, and shared learning. New team members receive orientation to the service, workflows, and equipment, ensuring they feel confident and supported. Ongoing feedback and opportunities for professional development are also encouraged within the team.
