About Us: The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare.

About the Opportunity: The Business Analyst Manager, Patient Reported Measures (PRMs) is accountable for leading and coordinating all clinical-technical aspects of the ACI PRM Program. The position will drive the continuous prioritisation and development of digital platforms that enable the collection and use of PRMs such as the Health Outcome Patient Experience (HOPE) platform and Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR).

This position will work collaboratively with Stream Lead, PRMs to identify and action the key clinical business requirements for both NSW Health LHD/SHN's. This position will work closely with health professionals including hospital managers and clinicians, and as well as consumers and community to identify opportunities for innovation in care delivery.

This position will undertake comprehensive project management activities including project strategy and planning, stakeholder negotiation, technical requirement composition, platform testing and milestone reporting both within the ACI and in collaborative projects with the NSW Ministry of Health, eHealth NSW other Pillars and LHDs/SHNs. The position will provide high-level advice to the ACI Executive and health system partners on the HOPE platform development timelines within NSW Health.

Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated business analyst management experience in Patient Reported Measures.
  • Highly developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively, and achieve program/business focused solutions.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in complex technical project management and the implementation of statewide projects, frameworks and/or initiatives within the sector, with knowledge of the HOPE platform and Single Digital Patient Record highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to motivate, manage and lead multidisciplinary teams within the health sector.
  • High-level skills in conceptual and systemic thinking on the successful application of innovative approaches within the health sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultation, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills with demonstrated capacity to broker effective ICT systems and solutions with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders within health systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships across agencies, teams, and stakeholder groups, fostering cohesion and shared purpose while navigating high volume, complex environments.
