About the Opportunity
Kickstart your oncology nursing career with our Transition to Specialty Practice program at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital. Based in the specialist Oncology Day Unit, you’ll join a dynamic and supportive team delivering safe, compassionate, person-centred care. You will work closely with patients, families, and carers, alongside a multidisciplinary team, supporting individuals throughout their cancer journey in a meaningful and rewarding clinical environment.
What You Will Be Doing
The Oncology Day Unit is an 8-chair, 1-bed service providing treatment to adult patients with oncological and haematological diagnoses from Armidale and surrounding communities. In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within the Oncology Day Unit
- Support patients undergoing cancer treatment in a day-only setting
