Werris Creek Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 16-bed facility delivering general medical care, residential aged care, and community health services to the Werris Creek community and surrounding district. We also operate a Day Care service for aged and disabled clients two days per week. While there is no on-site emergency department, we work closely with local GPs (on call 24/7) and nursing staff provide first aid and escalation support to Quirindi and Tamworth Hospitals via NSW Ambulance Service, including use of CERS escalation pathways.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (Aged Care) to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful difference in our community.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Werris Creek MPS, you will play a key leadership role in coordinating the day-to-day care of residents and patients. You will work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and delivering clinical care for residents and patients
- Case management and care planning
- Coordinating follow-up appointments and health services
- Acting as “In Charge” when the Health Service Manager is off-site
